Job Title: Programme Volunteer

Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Background
Santos Creations Educational foundation (SCEF) is a an education support service-providing and research based NGO providing services that help to improve and communicate a continuous ever-growing standard of education in Nigeria through its’ innovative scholarships and continuous advocacy programmes, thereby achieving the objective S4 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) for education..
In the forefront of such project is Education Online Nigeria, a service of Santos Creations Educational Foundation (SCEF). The mission of these project is to provide a platform for achieving the vision; education for all in Nigeria and Africa through continuous advocacy, access to information’s/ educational materials, training programs, certifications, secured online examinations, media programs, scholarships and award.


Core Functions/Responsibilities
• Report and work closely with the programme coordinator
• Collate and report progress on assigned projects/task periodically
• Support with the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of assigned programme
• Write effective reports
• Work closely with other staff
Required Skills/Competencies
• Online research and ability to identify opportunities
• Can work with/without supervision
• Leadership skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and time management skills
• Facilitation and presentation skills
• Passion for education, youth development training and Nigeria’s development
• Competency in using Microsoft packages

Qualification
No qualification is require as long as you can do all that is stated above. Physical Volunteers must have a flexible work schedule as our programmes have timelines and frequent visits would be necessary to measure the progress of the programmes. Applicants are also encouraged to state the duration they will be volunteering for, the least duration should be 2 hrs for 2 weeks.

How the online Volunteer works?
• We select the volunteers we wish to engage
• We start online collaboration with volunteers
• At the end , volunteer complete the feedback form
• We issue out an electronic certificate of appreciation to our volunteers for their contributions.
