The problem of character and attitude is of wide range that needs not only to be addressed at workplace but also in our homes and schools. In a wider perspective, it is our attitude and mindset toward life in general that determine our altitude, height or progress.
With this in mind, I also think, everyone and in particular parents, teachers and the clergies have the greater responsibility to educate and direct the affair of this nature for the collective well being.
BEHAVIOR;- What is behavior?- We have good and bad behavior. This is a range of actions and manners together with environment that has a positive or negative influence on any individual. This is acquired through conditioning that occurs through interaction with the environment and individuals.
Example of such behavior like being-Loyal, Thinking of others , Stealing of other people properties, and Always feel that people are right or wrong.
ATTITUDE; - What is Attitude? - We have good and bad attitude. We are told, it is an expression of favor or disfavor toward person or things and event. It is also an opinion or method we chose to do things, whether anyone is watching us or not. In an Attitude of love and Forgiveness.
Example of such method or disfavor, varies in our daily work just like, we chose to respond to emergency call on the phone, when we chose to believe in what someone else is telling us. The same is true, when we chose to respect or disrespect a particular person or friend for an unknown reason.
CHARACTER;- What is character?-We have good and bad character. It is a mental and moral quality, distinctive to an individual. It is a trait that is inherent in a person, an inborn that varies from every individual.
Example of such could be character being Lazy, Loyal character, Unfriendly and selfish character, Generous or careless character.
HABIT;-What is habit? We have good and bad habit, it is a routine behavior repeated regularly and it occurs unconsciously. It requires little or no thought and we often tend to learn it and we are not born with it. Example of habit is when we smoke excessively, Drive without seatbelt, Hot temper, Stealing, and habit of shearing.
We must observed that-Education, Experience and Environment, are all factors that go a long way to affect our behavior. But we have a responsibility and a choice to make, to do the right thing. Choosing the right Attitude, Character and Behavior in acting or controlling ourselves toward others in our conduct to do the right thing.
