Now, when I want something, I don't pray to some mad God for what I want. Instead, I go out and do what needs to be done as a matured adult to get results.

I don't see unfortunate circumstances as a result of some mad God's doing. I see them as a result of mistakes I have made due to inadequate information to guide my decisions.

When you eventually translate(die) from this life, you will come to the knowledge that physical life is just an illusion. I'd urge you to read 'our ultimate reality' or 'Knowledge of the higher world's'. Do not always rush to dismiss any idea or claim. I'd rather urge you to carefully examine them with open mindedness and without bias or sentiments.

Leaving religion is like getting out from the bondage of weakness, you get stronger knowing you can reach to any limit with your own power, you will never experience any sort of torment while dreaming or even being unnecessary afraid of darkness, you will get to value your life more, become smarter and enjoy the little life time you have without conditions
