Hey all, PLS I need a PHP FORM MAKER SOFTWARE with a DATABASE TOOL that can integrate MYSQL ON MY WEBSIT. This is a prerequisite of what i want, a situation whereby i have a job Application form on my website then visitors can fill it and click on submit it, and it will appear in my DB then i ill be able to view the entry and collate them. i HAVE MADE SERIES OF RESEARCH BUT I CAN GET ONE RELIABLE ONE. I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CODING ON PHP (NOVICE.) |

thanks i tried it, it was ok but it can only be done on web base, cant be done offline, isnt there any one i can possibly download to my pc? |

This is something that comes free of charge with drupal. using the cck/views. You can get to create forms and even get users to submit them into dbase, and write stuffs to view them without actually writing any codes. - safe |

dc, all those things that you have specified, drupal can do easily without coding and much more. But then, we cannot use drupal for everything sha, just an alternative. c++:i have used libcurl in a c++ program where i needed to read a url and display the result in my c++ program. You may want to learn drupal from mwebng.net if you can pay, or learn it for free by surfing the web. Same result at the end of the day. |

ok let me go check em out, does this drupal has an installation file? .exe cos i have got some lot of similar stuffs like dat but at the end of day after downloading i see many files |

rockafela: There will be no EXE in the package, there will be a darn whole lot of files. You need to install a local web server on your computer to use Drupal. I recommend this one called XAMPP, assuming you are using windows, you can get it for free here: http://www.apachefriends.org/download.php?xampp-win32-1.7.3.exe and when you have installed XAMPP, here are tutorials that show you how to install Drupal on your machine. You may want to read the two of them. http://www.abcdrupal.com/tutorials/install-drupal-windows http://www.myownserver.info/home/step-4-additonal-settings/88-xampp172php528.html Two other free software you may need are Notepad++ for your editing and Navicat MySQL Lite for your databases Good luck! |

Besides the great work that *dhtml and others are doing in the webmaster tutorial section, there are many lovely tutorials all over the internet. Here is a good starting point, I have personally gained a whole lot from them: NET TUTS php tutorials. All the best. |
