Book To Rejuvenate Ekiti Core Values For Launch On October 26th by Adesinaayo: 5:16pm On Oct 20, 2017
A book titled, Ekiti State: Beyond Rhetoric, Myths and Sentiments; which is a collection of papers and discourse towards rejuvenation of Ekiti core values and bond for socio-economic transformation and genuine development of the state is due for launch and public presentation on October 26th at Christ’s School Alumni Hall Ado-Ekiti.
The book edited by Adesina Adetola has distinguished papers from twenty four notable Ekiti personalities from diverse walks of life and forewords from Sir Remi Omotoso MFR, Prof Akin Oyebode and Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN.
Expected at the book launch are eminent personalities, government functionaries, traditional rulers, notable individuals such as the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Ayodele Fayose, His Deputy, Prof. Kolapo Olusola, Minister for Solid Mineral, Dr Kayode Fayemi, former Governor of Ekiti State, Engr Segun Oni, Pro Chancellor Ekiti State University, Bar. Dele Adesina among others. The event is going to be co-chair by Sir Remi Omotoso and Prof Akin Oyebode while Chief Seye Adetumbi will review the book.
According to the editor, main objective of the book is to present an agenda that would ensure a sustainable and viable future that transcends current issues and focuses on steps to be taken to build a process and culture that will outlive people, institutions and political interest.
