Before I start, I want to say I still love the show especially when I discovered Garnet is a fusion. I'm a big fan but Steven Universe should not be shown to kids.

I really laughed hard when I saw the rockus caused by pornography on CN that made Multi Choice speak on the issue. I was like 'see this crazy people, CN de teach una kids say there's nothing wrong with being LGBT and them de pursue lies'.

Most parents definitely over look this because they see no harm in Cartoon Network's programmes.

Steven Universe was a bland cartoon I hated until I discovered Garnet was a fusion between 2 pearls then it got worrying when I discovered the 2 pearls, Ruby and Sapphire, that make up Garnet are female.

It is quite easy to overlook as Garnet rarely splits into her individuals pearls and the 2 pearls look like male and female but they are both female.

Garnet is actually a symbol representing a lesbian relationship.

I first shared my findings months ago with just my friends on Facebook but the message that there is nothing wrong with being LGBT and that it is normal form of relationship accepted by society is so subtly and effectively passed by the cartoon that your kids who watch the show are gradually being fed propaganda without you ever realising.

Just to be sure I wasn't imagining things and expose myself to nairaland brand of ridicule, I decided to do a little research before making this post.

Here's what Wikipedia says

'Garnet has commonly been praised as a depiction of a romantic lesbian relationship in children's television. Since 2010, animated television series such as Adventure Time and The Legend of Korra have shown a larger amount of LGBT representation. Steven Universe makes frequent use of LGBT-related themes: Pearl has strong romantic feelings to Rose Quartz, and Stevonnie is a genderqueer character.'

If you know what is good for you, censor the cartoon, and you can also see Adventure Time supports LGBT.

Do the right thing now before 10 years from now, you start accusing the oldest woman in your village of being responsible for making your kids LGBT whereas your ignorance was responsible.

Below is Garnet and the 2 pearls(Ruby and Sapphire) that make her up.

They're are everywhere in the media. Growing up, we were uncomfortable seeing people kiss on TV now this has become a norm. These things were programmed into our minds through the media and trust me in 10 - 15 years time we won't find anything wrong with homosexuality too.

Exactly, well, this is just an eye opener for those who think the information is necessary.
