Bitcoin Breaks Above $6,000 & $100 Billion For The First Time In Its History

If you remember, in the month of September, Bitcoin the digital currency suffered a significant fall. Almost 40% in just two weeks, from about $5,000 to around $3,000.

Well, just a few days ago we have also seen Bitcoin beating its historical record above the $5,200. Well, a few days ago, the cryptocurrency reached the value of $5,200 for the first time in the history.

The value of the Digital currency is rapidly increasing and almost touched $6,000. Recently, the reports from CoinDesk shows that the digital currency Bitcoin surpassed the $6,000 mark on 23rd October, Monday.

The market value of Bitcoin also exceeded $100 billion. So, with at $6,000 a coin, the Bitcoin inventor Satoshi would be worth $5.9 billion which puts him at number 247 on Forbes’ list of world’s richest people.

In Forbes’s list of world’s richest people, Satoshi would be ahead of some big names like Wal-Mart’s heirs Ann Walton Kroenke and Samsung’s Jay Lee. According to the reports from Quartz, Satoshi Nakamoto would have an estimated 980,000 bitcoins.

Well, Cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile, so these reports are risky and exaggerated. Cryptocurrencies are no stranger to fluctuations in prices. So, what do you think about this? Share your views in the comment box below.
