Never said the phone was crappy but what happens when it spoils? Something that we know imported affordable phones have is screen issues. The phone would have been awesome without those black bars. They remind me of 2015 Ulefones undecided

Not all imported affordable phones have screen issues, look at xiaomi phones. Yes that black border is a massive turn off.

I never said all phones as in every single one in the batch. Even Xiaomi, i know someone who swears he would never touch it again coz he couldn't fix the issues.

That someone is not ready to fix the issue, if you doubt me, refer him here, and if it can't be fixed then I keep mute.

What parts exactly? Hope you are not just talking because you heard others talking? Apart from screen and maybe one or two parts, which other parts do you have for Tecno and Infinix? I can easily get parts for the phone you just slammed than the ones you defend.

Ok, which Infinix or Tecno exactly? Tecno Camon CX, or Infinix hot 4? Because as far as I know, only the Phantom 6 plus might stand a chance against this; only edge the Tecno clearly has over this is bigger battery, plus memory card expansion.

Even if your statement is taken seriously, it's still very budget friendly after changing flex twice, because you still wouldn't have spent up to 60k in all tongue.

Bro u know its gud to buy phones that thier materials or parts are available like pouch, screen guard, panel etc. And thier offices or customer centre should also be in that country in case of issues

Yea, you are right but not all phones imported from China are as you think. Someone imports a very insignificant phone model, and encounters problems with it, next thing is, ' phones from China don't have parts' . Fact is many people are deceived by cheap prices without doing a little research. This phone we are referring to here is a steal for the price, used to be around 100k but company is in a financial mess right now, they just have to do anything to survive.

As for parts, just forget it, those so called Carlcare can't help you to limits we can, #thexiaomithread.

Ignorance is a disease, it's obvious Tecno and Infinix users are affirmative that their phones will always develop faults and it's why they're always thinking about carl care. If you have no knowledge about the existence of AliExpress and ordering phone parts, then sit down and learn instead of arguing with guys that have knowledge about such stuff.
I too know go kill una, you're wasting data arguing on Nairaland instead of using it to make research about these products. They're higher than Tecno and Infinix when it comes to ranking.
How can I buy phone and start worrying about how to get parts because I know it will spoil?
Stop limiting yourselves to Nairaland Tecno threads and Google up brands. It's appalling and revolting that whenever you see a phone that's not Tecno or Infinix, you start talking about phone parts.

Nope, he is not lying, someone changed his broken screen some months ago, the good thing is you ever spend far less to get the parts (he spent around 9k to change the huge 6.44 inch of a Xiaomi Mi Max). I guess you know it takes around 18k to change the screen of an Infinix note 4, I just bought bought both screen and touch digitiser for a friend's broken Mi Max for around 9k too. Please check the screenshot well.

All phone manufacturers have carlcare in their major markets. Even Apple is big on aftersale services in places like Dubai where they sell a lot and they're always busy, it's not a wait and get stuff, they even give you replacement sometimes coz fixing can take up to weeks sometimes.

Nigeria is a major market for TECNO and Infinix and hence carlcare is a huge deal.
