The steadfast love of God
Abundantly He manifested in love
To fault darkness and void
Against the deep, He declared in comfort of words

Of mother, prepared for human an image;
Born of love, to hope and homely cottage
Eden, the rose on the road to probe
In dominion we abode, lofty we rode

But of blindness, serpent maneuvered our route
Stealthily eroded, inquisitively we lost our root
To deceit we yielded, from honor the oath we broke
In Anguish we lived, to death we lost

And the wrath of God roared a lion
Therefore thrust us as strangers of ingrate
In glory we appeared unworthy
In hurry He repealed our victory

But for love rescinds his wrath
Cloaked man in Christ the son
Whose light rose, raised and erased
Who sunneth the earth and shinneth out darkness

He crossed out suffocation through blood
He struck off condemnation with life
He wore the silk of sin as cloth
Yet in agony, he prayed for our soul

The steadfast love of God
Crappy we were in the hands of Lucifer
Happy we are in the lion of Judah;
The destroyer of evil, the slayer of darkness

The steadfast love of God
Through Christ we crossed
In his whips we are cured
Unto salvation a future so secured
