Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur both wear white as their home colours. That is not the news. The news is how both of them have been mirroring each other this season. It is quite weird! On the La Liga table, Real Madrid are third while Tottenham are also third on the EPL table. Madrid have played 10 La Liga matches this season, winning 6, drawing 2 and losing 2. The same record with Tottenham. Madrid have scored 19 league goals and have 20 points, the same with Tottenham. In addition, Madrid and Tottenham are sitting 8 points from the top of the table. In the Champions Leagues, both of them have played 3 games, won 2, draw 1 and yet to lose. In addition, the two teams have scored 7 goals, conceded 2 with a goal difference of 5. Real Madrid have 7 points, the same with Tottenham and they are joint-lead in Group H. Last weekend, both teams lost by a goal margin, playing away. Now, Tottenham Hotspur are playing host to Real Madrid this week in the UEFA Champions League. Is the record above a co-incidence or a reflection of what to expect on Wednesday?
