AIM: This thread is for the purpose to reduce the incidence of maternal death via provision of accurate medical information.
This is a puzzle every woman will have to unravel at some points in her life. Funny enough, it could be a tough, troubling one or a sweet adventure.
Finding out you are pregnant when you do not want to be can be confusing and stressful. This brief questionnaire can help you think through your options.
Is your period late / have you missed your period? YES. NO
Have you taken a pregnancy test? YES, I AM PREGNANT. NO
Do you know how many weeks pregnant you are? YES. NO
You need to think about what you want to do with your pregnancy. It's best if you can make a decision as soon as possible. You have two choices:
... CONTINUE WITH PREG OR DISCONTINUE WITH PREG...
CONTINUE- Visit your doctor to discuss your pregnancy. You must ensure you have a quality baby by early antenatal screening and commencing medications. Remember its your future pride.
DISCONTINUE- Depending on your circumstances you may have a choice between surgical and medical abortion. If you are considering medical abortion, is the time between today and the first day of your last menstrual period under 9 weeks?

NOTE: IF YOU ARE IN THIS SITUATION, PLEASE VISIT A DULY REGISTERED HOSPITAL OR SPEAK TO A QUALIFIED DOCTOR
WARNING: MANY GIRLS AND WOMEN HAVE LOST THERE LIVES THROUGH SELF MEDICATION OR PATRONISING QUACKS IGNORANTLY.
DONT BE ONE!
STAY ALIVE AND HEALTHY FOR YOUR FUTURE FAMILY.

LETS DISCUSS TEENAGE PREGNANCY TODAY:

Pregnancy is an unfortunate event in the life of preteen and teenagers. Yet, it is occurring with increasing frequency among children between the ages of 12 and 16. The magnitude of this growing problem is so great it demands the assistance of all segments of society to find a solution. While it is true that pregnancy is often a social, economic, and psychological burden to the young mother, the outlook for the baby may be even more bleak. Homes and schools are not meeting the needs for rearing and training these unplanned progeny to become productive citizens. Already, some of them are entering the labor market with few, if any, marketable skills.Preventive measures seem to offer the best prospects for dealing with this human dilemma
SOLUTION: Its pertinent we make collective effort to prevent girls' child death and also protect their bright futures.

PARENTS: Talk freely about sex education with your kids and enhance their preventive alertness.
SOCIETY: Don't stigmatise a pregnant teenager around you, give them support and help them seek the right medical help.

Its all about making our planet a better place. Thanks for reading my article.

Need medical help, call the no above.

Happy sunday, good people of Nigeria. Hope your weekend was worthwile.
As we continue with the topic: Teenage pregnancy, we shall look into the following facts....

1.Large percentage of girls do not know how to avoid getting pregnant. They may feel too inhibited or ashamed to seek contraception services; contraceptives may be too expensive or not widely or legally available. Even when contraceptives are widely available, sexually active adolescent girls are less likely to use them than adults. Girls may be unable to refuse unwanted sex or resist coerced sex, which tends to be unprotected.

SEX EDUCATION IS THE KEY.. We shall look into ways to prevent unwanted pregnancy in the next lecture..
Stay safe
