Job Title: Facilitator - Data Analyst/Business Intelligence

Job Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State‎

Job Purpose: Serve in a lead capacity for the Business Intelligence team in projects.

Basic Duties/Responsibilities: 

1. Serve as technical lead/participant in business intelligence in projects for full life cycle activities: scope, design, development, testing, and implementation 

2. Work closely with application teams, supporting technical staff, and helping business users to understand business requirements and issues while determining optimal BI approach 

3. Maintain responsibility for the design and creation of objects (application system), diagnosing and repairing user issues and system performance issues 

4. Test, monitor, and turn application systems and related software 

5. Translate complex data by joining, blending, and understanding in order  to deliver quality BI solutions (fuzzy logic and predictive analytics is a must) 

6. Define, document, implement, and communicate BI solution standards and methodology 

7. Apply, comply, and refine BI reporting and dashboards best practices and standards 

8. Participate in educating & training IT teams and business users on BI best practices and concepts 

9. Participate in scope, design, development, testing, and implementation activities 

10. Maintain technical documents 

11. Communicate with business, internal, and external teams

 12. Must be able to design a dynamic dashboard system for real-time analysis of Data on MS Excel platforms.

13. Must also have at 2years experience building dashboards and writing scripts



Education/Experience Requirement:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business or related field 
 
2. Must have 5+ years of overall IT industry experience 

3. Must have 3+ years of direct experience in the BI domain 

‎4. Must have full Microsoft Certification and able to use Microsoft Office suite efficiently.
