@Revolva

I would love to see this amazing
scenery with my physical presence
as well, but the several cases of
kidnappings and robberies on the
major expressways crisscrossing
Kogi state have held back many of
us who would like to embark on
tourist visits.

If the former boss of the DSS who
is from Issele Uku could be kidnapped
while driving by road with his driver
from his hometown to Abuja, then
the situation as of 2017 is still dicey.

Good we can still see this on YouTube
in the meantime.

Nice post! grin

Huh?... grin

Just a quick observation so readers
of this interesting thread don't get
confused.

The Tour Guide at the Confluence
Beach Hotel committed an
error while explaining things about Samuel
Ajayi-Crowther in the video above.

Bishop Ajayi-Crowther [who is the
maternal grandfather of Hubert Macauley
the father of
modern Nigerian nationalism], DID NOT
work as a slave on a sugarcane plantation.
Instead the Portuguese slave ship
in which he was onboard in 1821 when he
was just 12 years old was intercepted
by a British Navy Squadron off the
coast of West Africa and he was
liberated in Freetown, Sierra Leone along with other captives from Nigeria.

So the seized Portuguese slave ship never
made it to the Americas where it was
initially headed!
