Game Of Thrones Season 8: What To Expect by Plus1Nigeria(m): 6:52pm On Nov 11, 2017
the eighth and final season of the fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones was confirmed by HBO. Unlike the first six seasons that all consisted of ten episodes, and the seventh which consisted of seven episodes, the eighth season will consist of only six episodes. Like the previous season, it will largely consist of original content currently not found in George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, and will also adapt material Martin revealed to showrunners about the upcoming novels in the series.

What’s going to happen in Game of Thrones Season 8?

Well, it’s going to be The Great War, isn’t it? The show and book have teased at lengths that the ultimate battle in the show is between the living and the dead – and now that The Night King is through the wall, that showdown is going to come sooner rather than later.

Cersei’s call for a truce between herself, Jon and Daenerys was so convincing that even Jaime fell for it. But it was all a ruse – instead, she’s going to let her rivals deal with the undead threat, while she teams up with Euron and the Golden Company to finish off whoever survives.

“The thing that gave Cersei humanity was her kids,” Lena Headey said back in 2016. “They’re gone now.”

When is Game of Thrones Season 8 release date?
