Nigerian Super Eagles will battle against the Albiceleste of Argentina in a friendly game in Krasnodar, Russia, today 5:30pm After going through their World Cup qualifying phase unbeaten.

The Argentines team who has been in Russian since last week after a late Sagio Aguero header that gave them victory in a friendly match against Russia, will be hoping to display a more emphatic performance against the Nigerian Super Eagles today.


Argentina’s coach Jorge Sampaoli confirmed the absence of their star striker and highest goals scorer Lionel Messi.

It will really be a good to if another goal keeper is tested today in lieu of Ezenwa who has not given many Nigerians enough confidence in the goal keeping department. While I don't advocate for Enyeama's return, I think we still need a reliable goal keeper.

The current form of Ezenwa will be suicidal for eagles in Russia. It's either he improves on his form and builds up his confidence level, or we get a replacement for him.
