Consistency Lesson From Job by Nobody: 8:28am On Nov 16, 2017
Before you will leave, just read this; it won't hurt you.

Good day God's beloveth!

We call God, the unquestionable God; yet often times we are quick to question the authenticity of God ,the power of God, we often times doubt if He knows all our troubles. It is quite clear that most Christians allow their emotions and things that are seen to dictate their relationships with God:merry and praise God when things are right but turn around immediately when bad news come in.

Job was a man that feared God and eschewed evil. It was recorded that he was the greatest in the East during his time (Job 1:3) with seven sons and three daughters. All that made him great, he lost within one day. What news can possibly be worse than this?
God allowed this to befall on Job because He wanted to show Satan that Job would continually look unto Him(God) irrespective of the circumstance. You will agree with me that it was too much but that is not part of the discussion. Just as God put His trust on Job , he(Job) did not let God down. Of all the calamities that befell on Job he was continually looking unto God. He was not quick to doubt the love of God, he was not quick to doubt the protection of God.

The story of Job was not written in the Bible to add to the pages of the Bible, this is a picture of what God expect of Christians: continually looking unto Him irrespective of what is happening in the physical. In the case of Shadrach ,Meshach and Abednego in the hands of king Nebuchadnezzar, you may wonder why they replied him thus; "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up".( Daniel 3:16-18) This told Nebuchadnezzar that they were for God, miracles or no miracle, signs or no signs ; irrespestive of what was before them. This statement made king Nebuchadnezzar more angry,he was expecting them to deny God .

We are up when things are right but down when things are wrong. I think one of the reasons why God does not answer some prayers immediately is to test our consistency. We Christians are destined to reign with Christ and we are currently undergoing test (2 Tim. 2:10-12; 1 Cor. 9 :24-27).It is time we Christians put the miracle, miracle, miracle notion we have about God as secondary and be steadfast about all that God is. God is a miracle God, but there is more to Him. Lets be consistent in this Christian race. The Psalmist said in Psalm 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Other study verses Ps.86:12; 63:4; 146:2)
