Longer Sleep:

Also among the traits of high mental performance is the tendency to sleep long. This gives the brain more time to 'get some rest', making mental performance even easier. Note, however, that this sleeping for longer is not entirely done by choice. Rather, it is a semi-automated mechanism that the brain initiates for better performance.

Trust And Liberality:

Another trait that is demonstrated by highly intelligent people is that they are better at trusting others.

This is so because one of the qualities of intelligence is the ability to assess others fairly accurately and so with this, clever people are able to determine people who can be trusted.

Inquisitiveness: 

Another pointer to high intelligence is the knack to probe virtually everything. Even the things that may have come to be accepted as the norm.

This makes them liable to chart new courses and to be responsible for new ways of doing things, both for themselves and for others as well.

This probably is the most practical trait of the five mentioned here. Simply put, they ask questions about everything for the purpose of making useful findings which they, in turn, apply to create helpful innovations.

The obvious of the five. Highly intelligent people excel at remembering things with notable accuracy. This helps in being better students and ultimately, better retainers of knowledge, which they use in creating solutions.

Once more, it is important to take note that the traits mentioned here are not simply choices made by the persons who practice them, even though this can become the case with practice, rather, they are psychological tendencies that show how their brains work naturally, just as some people can curl their tongues and some can not.
