ZINEDINE ZIDANE is reportedly ready to let Cristiano Ronaldo leave Real Madrid at the end of the season after his recent comments.
Reports in Spain this week have suggested at unrest in the Real dressing room, sparked by Ronaldo’s opinion at what has gone wrong at the club this season. Ronaldo said their downfall has been in part to the departures of Pepe, Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez following the Champions League loss to Tottenham earlier this month
The La Liga giants currently sit eight points behind rivals Barcelona in the league table after just 11 games of the campaign.
“The players who have come in have great potential,” Ronaldo said. “But Pepe, Morata and James Rodriguez made us stronger – now the team is younger. He added: “It’s not a worse squad, but it has less experience and that is very important – though it is not an excuse. I’m happy and don’t want to set off alarms.”
But Sergio Ramos was not happy with Ronaldo’s assessment and it has led to a split in the Real dressing room. The report states that Zidane was so annoyed with Ronaldo’s opinion that he would have no problem with the former Manchester United star leaving next summer..
