FC Barcelona scouts were at Stade Le Canonnier to observe Nigerian star Henry Onyekuru who scored his seventh league goal of the season in Anderlecht away win at Royal Excel Mouscron.

The Aspire Academy star scored Anderlecht’s winner after Govea had brought the home side back on level terms following Bruno’s opener for the guest, in the end, closing stages of the first half.

Indeed, barca, ajax, Man utd and PSV scouts were present to watch him over the weekend in belgium but that's about all they did. No concrete negotiations are going on.

Besides, the only websites reporting a negotiation between barca and everton on Onyekuru are nigerian websites only unlike the other news about Juventus and Atletico interest being reported by UK sites.

I wish him the best but even if barca were to be interested, he shouldn't take the leap. That's a career heading in the wrong direction. He should set his sites on regular first team shirts with everton.
