In furtherance of our vision of a Nigeria sufficient in food production and rich in agricultural produce exports, Agro News Nigeria is set to develop a new phase of 200 hectares of soybean and sesame seed farm in Benue State.

The farm project located in Howe Tarakun, Gwen East LGA Benue State, is to be wholly developed by Agro News Nigeria, supervised and managed by its field and sister company MARIOK Farms Ltd.

The project which is the 2nd in series is to be developed using our farm estate model where the public are invited to own farm plots within the farm estate.

The Agro News Nigeria’s farm estate model provides opportunity for the working class and those willing to invest in farming but do not have available land and also lack the time for the day to day management and supervision of their farms.

The entire farming operations in the farm estate are to be supervised and managed by Agro News Nigeria, working with MARIOK FARMS.

At harvest, farm produce or its cash equivalent is to be handed over to all farm owners as agreed.

Agro News Nigeria is working to increase Nigeria’s export proceeds on sesame seed and also bridge the current gap in supply of soybean locally due to its rising high demand in the food industry, hence emphasis on it.

Planting is to commence on the new project during the next farming season (May/June).
