As the Christmas & new year celebration is approaching, I want to start rearing cockerels or broilers so that I can sell during the festive season, please advise me.

Make your findings on where you can source them cheaply and resell at high prices during the festive period.

It's better you buy at cheap price and resell at profit margin.....

it takes about 6months+ to raise cockrels to maturity and 6weeks+ for broilers. Seems time is not on your side.
