Former South African blade Runner, Oscar Pistorius saw his initial 6 year jail sentenced increased to thirteen and a half years following appeal by prosecutors. Prosecutors were unhappy with the initial six year jail term which they term too lenient for someone convicted of murder,prompting an appeal to a higher court.
