A leading Engineering firm in the Oil and Gas sector is seeking the services of an experienced PROJECT ENGINEER

Responsibilities and Duties
1. Establish and maintain effective contacts with customers, operators, major offshore contractors, engineering companies, etc., and identify appropriate individuals and key project personnel in order to positively affect sales.
2. Serve as liaison between the customer and the company.
3. Proactively source and pursue new and existing business opportunities.
4. Ensure all products are included/qualified in applicable vendor lists; operators and contractors.
5. Maintain database of all offshore oil and gas field developments plans and status including deep and shallow water.
6. Possess/acquire knowledge of subsea and marina Inspection Maintenance and repair programs to propose available company services (pipeline, topside, refurbishing).
7. Present and negotiate contracts within established perimeters.
8. Coordinate and maintain customer billing.
9. Coordinate project with Engineering, Manufacturing and Accounting as required.
10. Establish and maintain contact with regional and national administration to ensure compliance with the local rules and regulations.
11. Ensure appropriate business units are well informed of all activities in Nigeria and other West African markets.
12. Provide and submit weekly activity reports to the Management.
13. Arrange sales meetings and provide logistic assistance to sales personnel visiting the region, as and when required.
14. The Project Engineer shall be part of the Company’s management team and attends all operations meetings of the Company.
15. Achieve set revenue and profit targets as agreed.
16. Complete other duties as may be assigned.
Qualification & Experience
• BSC/HND in any Engineering- related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Strong personality and ability to lead, control and co-ordinate activities even at technical levels.
• Excellent oral, written communication and computer skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
