Thanks for the response. It shall end in praise!!!

Thinking I should do same as it is not contributing towards CRS score but I don't know how safe that will be...or should we just do a notarized letter in CIC format along with the Letter of Introduction (containing just her name, Job Grade - not Job Title, annual Salary - benefits excluded, and HR contact) since she's not the PA.

Please what will you suggest?

Hi, thank you for your help but the problem is this:
1. My sister is a contracted staff to the company so her employment letter is carrying her contractor's letter head not the Company she has been contracted out to work with.
2. Her job description has evolved to another role since she started working there but the Contractor(which is her direct employer) has failed to include this updated job description in her reference letter.
The role that's included cannot fetch her any point as it is not relatable to her job description.
Her job description now is NOC 1225 but what is written in her reference letter is 1221
please what can she do? cc @glitteringstar @einsteino, @cochtrane, @Kontagious, @40Lappyman Please i need your help
smslive2:
If you get a generic letter from your HR, I will suggest you add the following documents and use your LOE well

Employment Letter, Promotion Letter (if available) and Pay Slips... Basically, anything that will prove you are working in the organisation you mentioned and also in the role you claim to be working.

This issue was thoroughly answered on this forum. Am also planning on getting married after getting PPR. From what i've read on that forum, it takes roughly 4-8 weeks so you're still in good hands.

Good morning. I've been a silent follower of this page and I have learnt a whole lot. Thank you everyone for your contributions.

I have a question though...... I got my copr last year but had to get married afterwards. I informed cic and they sent a looooong list of requirements which we have sent. That was early December. However, I'm yet to get any response from them. And I can't even tell what stage I'm in. Has anyone been in this situation and what was the timeline before they responded?

Thank you

23401 has always worked for me as long as the address is written correctly (street, area, town, state). WES hardcopy was delivered to my doorstep in two week using the aforementioned.

This is funny. What happens if after PPR, you get married to a woman who just gave birth to your child? You get to update CIC accordingly or what?

I've heard of adding spouse post ITA and post PPR, but not post COPR. You definitely have nothing to worry about. I want to believe all will be treated in the same manner so long as it is not post landing (you have not landed in Canada abi). So give CIC some more time and kindly feed us back when you hear from them so the rest of us can learn. Wish you and others God's speed

NA1 is when your background check is showing 'Not Applicable' before you paseed medical and sometimes even up till few days after you passed medical
IP1 is when your background check changes and it's showing 'In Progress' most times same day as medical passed or a few days after
NA2 is when your background check changes again and it's showing 'Not Applicable'. This is for the second time that's why we call it 2
IP2 is when your background check changes to 'we are processing your background check'.

What is written in front of 'additional documents' too may change from time to time

It happens a lot, in fact, according to that canada visa forum, it's better than adding the spouse before you receive PPR as it usually only adds 4 to 8 weeks to your application and since you've already received PPR, it makes it easier four your spouse to receive one as well. As long she passes her medicals and has her own PCC.

Though you have to return the passport and Copr and then you and your spouse are given new ones and you get a new visa stamped in your passport.

This shows alot of people are too lazy to read but are looking for quick and shortcut to answers.

Which materials are you asking for again na?

@ Inception12, are you saying that it takes longer when you add your spouse pre PPR than post PPR? I will like you or anyone to respond because this pre PPR is plan and I would like to know if I should stick to it or not.

Thanks.

Remove the comma (e.g 26,000) and just input 26000. It will go through
