Nairanlanders, what is the essence of "share" we normally click or share in our posts on Nairaland? Does that mean that when "share" is clicked, its automatically shared to other social media pages?

"Like" is understand able, but "share" seems confusing as to what it really signifies on Nairaland threads, since we are not sharing or posting such threads to other social media sites.

It means sharing to ur friends following u on nairaland.
