Most times we find ourselves consistently apologizing for our actions both the ones we can control and the ones we can’t because we feel it is the right thing to do. But the truth is that not all actions done need an apology; even though you might categorize it as a strength it is really a weakness. Especially if you apologize for everything you do, so that you come-off as the more sympathetic person.

Here are my TOP 10 things you should never apologize for.

Saying NO!
Let Your NO be NO. No questions asked. Never do anything that you don’t feel like doing. At the end of the day, it’s your choice and your life – so live it.

Asking For Help.
We all need a helping hand every now and then. Never apologize for not knowing something or understanding a situation. We all learn every day. So when next you need help in doing something or achieving a goal, just reach out and never feel bad.

Speaking Your Mind.
Never apologize for having an opinion. That in itself is confidence. Not everyone has that in them and you shouldn’t be apologizing for that.

Being Yourself.
You are who you are and should be proud of that. Not everyone will appreciate the real you but you will find people who will. Never apologize or tilt to fitting the perfect person image created by the ignorance of someone.

Standing Up For Something You Believe In.
Always stand-up for what you believe in even though no one around you stands with you, and never apologize for it. Do you know what’s worse than ‘having an opinion?‘ Having none at all. Everyone should stand-up for something and I’m glad you have found yours.

Doing Things You Love.
You should always do what you love and love what you and never apologize for immersing yourself in something that brings you absolute joy and satisfaction. Except what you love is directly harming someone. Then don’t apologize, stop it.

Killing it.
Never apologize for being awesome at what you do; be it at school, work or play. Be proud of your achievements and wear them with pride.

Expressing your emotions.
This is how you feel at the moment – so cry if you have to, laugh loud. Just express yourself and never apologize for your actions.

Telling the truth.
If someone asked your opinion on something or if you are in a position to say the truth on an issue, just say it. If you don’t, it’s going to kill you or rather your conscience won’t let you be. Be truthful and never apologize for it.

Not sharing mutual interests.
It is ok not to like the same things other people like and you have no reason to apologize for that. Whether its dogs, sports, cooking etc … whatever it is, just because you pretend to like them doesn’t make you a good person.
