Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Nollywood Actor, Francis Duru and other reputable Nigerians will be honored this Saturday in Abuja for their contribution towards unity and peace building in Nigeria.

Unity and Patriotism Nigeria Awards is an annual award ceremony born out of a strong desire to recognize and appreciate deserving Nigerians and institutions who have in no small measure contributed to unity and nation building through acts of patriotism.

According to the project director, Mrs Linda Nwankwo Philips, some of the other awardees includes Distinguished Senator Shehu Sani, Paul Sambo, Mr Obinna Iyiegbu and many others.

The event is scheduled to hold December 9th in Barcelona Hotels, Abuja.
