Members of the winning team in United Nations Hackathon : The first ever held UN hackathon in Nigeria had four members of our training (Moat Academy and Pink IT) as part of the six-man winning team. The Hackathon was implemented in 9 cities across the world, with Lagos as the only city in Africa; innovators and developers were selected through an application process.

Fisayo at Interswitch : One of Alumni gained employment with the leading payment processing company in Nigeria, Interswitch in just few weeks after completion of his training with us.

Kehinde at Moore Advice: One of the Pink IT Alumni (a program which Moat Academy’s curriculum was also deployed) gained employment with a software company, MooreAdvice in less than two weeks after her training.

Mariam at Concept Nova: Mariam gained employment with a software company, Concept Nova limited in less than 3 weeks after completing her training with us.

Toba at DipoleDiamond : In less than 2 weeks after the bootcamp, Toba gained employment with Dipole Diamond as a software Developer.

Pink IT Demo day on Channel's TV: We are happy that 3 commercially viable applications were presented on the demo day developed from scratch by those we trained .

Daniel at Insidify : Daniel gained employment as a backend developer at Insidify.

Applicant will be adequately trained to be able to handle the following responsibilities as a software developer:
Web Application Front End Development using HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Javascript, Jquery and building responsive website using Bootstrap classes.
Server Side Programming: MySQL Database modeling and handling, PHP Programming using OOP and Framework, AJAX
All participants at the bootcamp will be able to develop a Web Application of their choice as their final bootcamp project.

It’s the 10th Week! Our Cohort V Classic Participants are Developing Their Web Applications (Final Projects)

The journey that started barely 10 weeks ago has seen our Cohort Five participants being taken through the frontend application development to database modelling and design, and now server-side programming. Wisdom is developing a “special” forum we have called Demo Forum to protect his intellectual property as he intends to make it commercially available within the next few weeks when all the intended features would have been implemented. Michael wishes to solve accommodation problem for the students in his alma mater by developing a platform he called “Easylodging” where students can easily find vacant rooms for rent. Putting all they learnt during the 10-weeks period into practice, participants developed a range of several interesting applications. Other web applications developed by participants of the cohort include “Teachify”; a platform to find private tutors, Carrygo”; a courier management system and so on.
