After the release of the 'Wedding Party' movie many people consider Ikechukwu as an actor other than a rapper.

The Rapper who had a chat with Sunday Scoop, insisted he has no plans leaving his music career for acting, reveled that he has been doing both before he moved to Nigeria many years ago.

Ikechukuwu explained, “I just believe I became known as a musician earlier, that’s all. But since I had recorded some achievements as a music artiste, I thought it was time to delve into movies.

“I was actually pursuing an acting career in New York before I came back to Nigeria. So, it has always been music and acting for me.”

According to him, he is still a musician even though it appears he does more of acting now. He stated, “I don’t think my love for music will suffer because of acting. For me, it is really about how much of effort and interest the creator puts into his art.

Next year, I plan to drop music materials and perhaps an album too because my fans have been asking for it a lot.

“I have been getting more scripts ever since I featured in the Wedding Party. I am versatile; I have played a madman before. I can play any role, but I hope to play a role people won’t expect of me.

I plan to feature in more projects that can help further my acting career. I don’t mind being in front or behind the camera.”

The rapper also talk about his break up in 2011, Ikechukuwu still open for marriage. Recall, when he proposed to his ex, Sarah Ofili, at Regent Square in London on October 22, 2011, which happened to be her birthday. A year later, they had to end the engagement over an allegation of infidelity.

The rapper finally said, “I will get married when God deems it fit. I have tried marriage before and it didn’t work out well. I don’t know why it didn’t work out, but I feel it was not yet my time.”
