#Ukapisua Preparations in top gear at Ibom Unity Park(Christmas Village) ahead of the Ukapisua Street groove party coming up on December 26th, 2017. Interested persons are registering with any of the 5 bands of their choice as rehearsals has begun for the carnival. Former Women Affair/Education Commissioner, Mrs. Eunice Thomas who is the leader of the 'Bridge Band' named after the bridge of no return in Ikot Abasi, Beach Town Band, named after longest beach coast line in West Africa, Ibeno Beach is led by Mr. Edmund Ufang, Chief Protocol Officer to the Governor. Plaza Band named after Ibom Plaza is led by Prince Enobong Uwah, Blue River Band named after the Ukanafun Blue River is led by Sir. Emem Akpabio, Rolling Hills Band, named after the rolling hills of ITU is headed by Senator Bassey Albert, OBA.
