I'm not saying that something isn't wrong with the car or not..

that doesn't also mean this kinda corolla asking for 1.3 -1.5 won't have something wrong with it aswell.

Everybody isn't greedy you know, car sales on nairaland seem not to factor in depreciation. Once it's 2003-2006 corolla it must sell for 1.2-1.7m even if it was bought 10years ago..

Now you are here saying for a fact that something has to be wrong for this depreciated corolla to go for 800k...
for someone of ur reputation on nairaland you shouldn't spoil some else's sale just by assuming

Just to clear all doubts, I went to see this car personally yesterday, was there for only 8mins.

Bargained price- 550,000

I will list its Good and bad sides.

Tyres- ok.

Interior- some missing plasic covers near footwell on front right and left sides.

Airbag deployed and clued on front right dashboard.

Could be kept much cleaner.

Boot- not well kept.


Engine bay- not intact, very disorganised.

Engine- rattling seriously, oil leaks all over body of engine.

Airconditioning- functional, wrong compressor installed, pipe welds a mile long.



Body- a lot of dents on front right side of vehicle, the front right and left fender, head lights, front bumper, grill and bonnet are not salvageble.



Chassis- front right impact, work done poorly, engine does not sit straight in the bay, it is tilted at an angle. All engine mounts are out of placeand tilted right causing excessive vibrations.


Summary. Vehicle is not road worthy, will never be road worthy no matter how much money you put into it because of the accident to the front right side of the car. Chassis is bent and welded at wrong angles.

I will post pics in my spare time.

Am very sure nobody asked anybody to make inspection on his behalf, so its unnecessary show.we all know people buys cars,brand new,tokumbo,second hand, it all depends on your purse.
