Proverbs 15:4
“A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.”

*LET'S TALK*
There are people who wonder why the
circumstances and experiences of their lives
don’t seem to align with the wonderful blessings and provisions of the Gospel, despite being born again for several years. The reason is simple: they haven’t made their tongue their own tree of life.

Using your mouth rightly is a vital key that unlocks the blessings of salvation in your life! Peter tells us

1 Peter 3:10 (NLT),
“...If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies.”

Though your tongue is small, it controls everything in your life. There’s no situation you can’t change, if you’d make your tongue your own tree of life by declaring God’s Word over your life and situation.

Are you feeling sick? Speak health, wellness, and life to your body. Are you behind in your schoolwork and your grades? Declare that you have a sound, excellent mind, and speak success into your academics. Effect
whatever change you want with your words!

Your mouth wasn’t given to you merely for eating and drinking; its greater use is for controlling your life. You’re where you are today because of what you’ve been saying.
You can be anything you want to be, have anything you want to have, and achieve anything you want to achieve within God’s perfect will. The key is in controlling your life with your tongue!

*Pray*
Dear Father, I thank you for your grace that has brought salvation to my spirit. I declare that all the blessings of salvation—health, success, safety, wellness and wholeness accomplished by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, are my present￾hour possessions and the vital realities of my daily existence, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen.
