The Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State command has arraigned a man, Kenneth Abuya, before a Magistrates’ Court sitting in Ikeja of the state after report came that he allegedly had sexual intercourse with his 10 year old daughter, at the same time impregnating her.

The Police prosecutor, Inspector Simeon Imhonwa, told court that Abuya forcefully had sex with his daughter on November 29 at his residence in Idimu road, Egbeda in the state and threatened to kill her if she revealed the alleged crime to anyone.

Imhonwa said that the daughter was left with no choice than to narrate her ordeal to her mother who immediately lodged complaint to the police.

“The accused had been defiling the girl before he was apprehended. The victim’s mother reported the case to the police after their daughter narrated her ordeal,” he said.
