it so pathetic that this guys will come out to campaign and tell all sort of lies of bettering the educational sector when in actual fact nothing is been done, only their own children deserves the right to have a better life/education while other's don't/ should not be given that privilege.

The reality is true but the story is false!

No school in the state capital that is like this, maybe in one of the interior villages.

But that should not take away the government responsibility, but wait, must we all wait for Federal, don't they have a Counselor, Chairman, House of Assembly Member, House of Rep. Member, and a Senator representing that community!

I just weep for the bunch of dullards we have in power who only care about their stomach!

there was a country called Nigeria!

Is it supposed to be selective development? Is the interior village you alluded to not part of the oil producing state?
Please don't justify this poo.

Governor Udom is a criminal.
PDP needs to be flushed out of that state cos the level of corruption in that state is alarming.
Cc GrandFinale2017

Does that school look like what was built of recent? What is the ministry of education doing? Before you blame the governor have you asked who the commissioner for education is? I hope Akwaibom people will not bring APC to their state. Nigeria has not yet recovered from the misery APC brought on them.

Built2last:

The current figures shows that our population is now 194,094,896. Nigeria's population is scary with a growth rate of 2.1% meaning that about an additional 4,535,394 persons is added per year. We have 98,285,308 male population about 51.% and 95,809,588 female population 49%. We had 6,854,958 Births this year ie 2,872 Births per day. We had 2,260,045 Deaths this year.

This is not mare statistical figures it is a real sign that Nigeria will soon explode if no real plan is put in place. India accounts for the largest number of poor people in any country in the world but its poverty rate was far lower than Nigeria which is among countries having large number of poor people. This should scare anyone. What is even more scary is that we will soon surpass india in the number of people with extreme poverty if we continue like this.

Poverty has risen in Nigeria, with almost 125 million people living on less than a $1 (£0.63) a day, statistics have shown. We are talking about 62% of Nigerians now live in "absolute poverty". This would get worse giving the irresponsible disposition of government.

We have so drifted and have continued to drift as a country. With the current structure, Nigeria will always have a better yesterday because with no real plan for the surge in population the hardship will worsen.

At 14.2% unemployment, we battle with over 30 million nigerians without job. We have virtually all employed Nigerian currently underemployed given the present value of the what they earn. What is the purchasing power of naira?

All these analysis is a pointer to the failure of government that has refused to realize that our current structure can never work. We are not yet a serious people and we are not ready for any meaningful development.

The war on corruption as a major policy thrust of this administration is a misplaced one. It is meaningless to say the least. If we must fight, we should be fighting poverty and by extension unemployment.

The way to go is the bold way and that way would guarantee efficiency, eliminate waste. It is going back to the drawing board. It is restructuring this country and taking advantage of the regional advantages. Surviving on the low hanging fruits is no longer sustainable.

This same state collects the highest funds from federation account as an oil producing state. It is pathetic and disheartening that such a sight is not yet a thing of the past. Ex governor Godswill Akpabio designed roads and photoshoped the life of the state, yet he described himself the transformation governor. How does this even bode well for the future of the state and country at large?

As always, my quarrel remains with the populace who allow themselves to be tools for election malpractice, receiving gifts that won't sustain them for 1hour while mortgaging the future of their children and the unborn generation.

with all the allocation given to the state and yet the governor would be called lover of education just like the governor of ogun to was called that.

this government needs to see up and be on top of their games as education is not to be politicized but taken seriously.

before any one start diverting the issue to apc or pdp, kindly understand that it goes beyond party divide but when this ones start designing houses or injecting the sick or teaching students, the pain or house collapse spears no one not even along the party lines
