I need help I have been treating typhoid for the past 7 months now. I have done full blood count, HIV test. I have carried out the rest not less than 4 times but I keep getimg positive for typhoid. Infact my people think it's spiritual I have gone to all sort of places use all sort of herbal. Yet I still don't get it.

My major symptoms starts with a kind of head been heavy, inconvenience in the stomach which later leads me to vomiting. I don't have body temperature. General weakness and sometimes blurry visions. After an treated I get relieved but within ask me to 2 weeks it starts again.

I have used 2 full packet of augumentin also. Please I need advice.

Typhoid is caused by two reason.

1 contact with an infected person

2 Your type of diet and the type of water you drink.


Let's go with number 2, since you keep falling sick over and over after treatment, why not try being a vegetarian just to boost your immune system. Try being a vegan and start boiling your water or only take table water if you can afford it.

Actially i stoped taking my water at home the 1st month i was diagnosed like wise the water in my office. But the one in my home we still use it to book but don't drink it. Could one get infected from the cooking as well?

my bro if u check my profile wel,u wld see dat it has being distrbn me for more dan 2yrs.av gone up and down but to no avail.my main symptom is abdominal pain. any time i do widal d figure wld b si high. i had to visit luth 2 months ago and so far dat was d best answer i got (although i am nt still ok).

I feel your pains it's really annoying for now am ok. But as at yesterday I felt fevrish and took some injections am back on my dear hoping the damn typhoid never rare it's ugly face again.
