I still remembered a few years ago when people including me design websites using HTML codes. But, for one to create any website in HTML, one must learn coding at least have coding knowledge.
This reason explains why people run away from becoming website designers. Also, creating a webpage with HTML codes takes weeks or months. The Introduction of WordPress was a breakthrough for both present and upcoming website designers.
