Quentin Bassani is a Georgia based Artist who is taking his work to the next level, starting his own record label . Opium Records, *LLC*, which was launched in 2017 is Quentin Bassani's platform for composing and releasing his musical passion independently.

Growing up in Woodbury Georgia, plagued by poverty and crime, Quentin is acutely aware of the need to express anger and frustration through music rather than violence.

The 40-year old has risen from what could have been the downfall of a lesser man. Scorned by poverty, racism, and psychological warfare, Quentin Bassani turned to music as a way to express the turmoil that surrounded him.

Armed with the knowledge of self, he is ready to unleash the pent up Hip-hop he has loved and developed since he was a child

His own record label "Opium Records" will be a channel not only for his 300 plus written songs that are ready for release, but for others with the same passion.......... A passion to express themselves and channel the outcry from the ghetto. A cry of frustration that demands answers and solutions.

Influenced by the likes of 2pac, Eazi E, Ice Cube, Scareface and many others... Quentin's own music focuses on political and racial topics to vent the day to day struggle of the underprivileged. Just because where they live means oppression, doesn't mean that they should be denied a voice.
