You must be sleeping on a bicycle if you have not already heard of the TECNO XmasHugs Activity. Hugging family and friends is the new cool thing and as you would admit, a lot of us in this side of the world don’t get to consciously do that often due to the high demands for survival.
We love Christmas because it is a season of pleasant surprises, love sharing and gift sharings.

But the best Christmas gifts are not those wrapped in a paper. No store sells them. It’s the care you show one to another, that warm hug that speaks louder than words.

Just with a hug you could put a smile on someone’s Faces this Christmas and interestingly, TECNO has decided to reward folks who take time out to consciously enjoy the company of their loved ones this festive period and embellish them with hugs.

Since the activity started two weeks ago, thousands of entries have been sent in where 10 winners have already been chosen across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and TECNOSpot.

At the end of second week, Joyce Okwu, Karshao4, Odehossana, Bethylov and Isaac Femi all emerged as Week Two winners in the online activity which was announced on TECNO’s Official page on Tuesday. They will all get Special TECNO Xmas Hampers each.


The TECNOXmasHugs will run till 31 of December, 2017 and you can still participate and win big.

So, If you are yet to join in the activity, you can still do so by participating either online or offline. Here’s how to you can do that:

HOW TO PARTICIPATE ONLINE

STEP 1 – Take a picture of you hugging your family and friends and accompany it with a captivating caption.

STEP 2 – Upload on TECNO’s Facebook page as comment under the activity pinned post with the hashtag #TECNOXmasHugs or on Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and TECNOSpot with the same hashtag #TECNOXmasHugs. Tag and follow TECNOMobileNG on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter and TECNOSpot to make your entry valid.

Every week, we will pick 5 winners- One entry with the most reasonable replies on Facebook, the most reasonable comments on Instagram, one entry with the most valid retweets on Twitter, One entry with the most mentions on Snapchat and one entry with the most “agrees” on TECNOSpot.

These 5 weekly winners will be rewarded with Special TECNO Hampers.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE OFFLINE

STEP 1 – Walk into any TECNO authorized store and buy a TECNO smartphone to get an instant gift and a raffle ticket. The raffle ticket qualifies you and the TECNO Smart Ambassador in that store to win a Phantom 8 each.

Guess what, that’s not all! You can still stand a chance of winning Special TECNO hampers by simply taking a photo with one of the Rabbit dressed Smart Ambassadors at any of the TECNO accredited stores, follow the brand on all their social media pages and consequently upload the picture on your social media page(s) with the harshtag #TECNOXmasHugs.

Those who emerge winners online cannot participate in the activity online again but can join the offline activity and increase their chances of winning a Phantom 8 smartphone amongst other gift items.
