The tax cuts is a sham that makes tax cuts for Billionares and Corporations permanent while making Middle Class tax cuts temporary. Plus it cuts $1.5 Billion from Medicare and Medicaid programs. It eliminates mortgage deductions in some states. I can go but will cut it down for now. That's why over 60% of Americans including yours truly are against . It's a big giveaway to the Uber rich. Hope you get my gists.

You are welcome. It's a deal that's beneficial to the Billionares at the expense of middle class. It's like cutting taxes for the likes of Dangote, Adenuga and co in Nigeria while giving peanuts to hard working middle class.

Don't listen to the leftist propagandist talking points. They won't tell you it will benefit businesses and help them grow the economy. Common sense should tell you not all business rake in billions in earnings. The tax cut is meant to make American businesses compete favorably with other countries especially China which has their corporate rate at about 25%. Trump tax plan would lower the corporate tax rate to 20% from 35% and eliminate most business deductions and credits, with the exception of those for research and development and low-income housing.

Trump's manifesto was to lower tax for the middle class especially, boost competitiveness of American companies among other nations and stop them them from moving overseas like before. When companies are taxed fairly, some will create more jobs, some will raise employees' wages. But most importantly, the "forgotten me and women" who make up a good chunk of Trump voters will have more money in their pockets than before.

Bullsh1t Republican talking points, your trickle down economy fantasy have failed and continue to fail. Are you guys just irredeemable foolish. This same economy model failed in the time of Ronald Reagan and also failed of late in Kansas and made Kansas one of the poorest state in the USA.

What you fail to put in your bullsh1t write-up, was that this tax will add a 1.5 trillion deficit to the nation, plus cut in CHIPS, medicAIDS and see folks with high state tax paying double, plus cuts in programs that assist homeless and sick veterans. The GOP and drumpf goons are just soulless waste of space.

From previous experiences, cutting tax for the uber rich never benefits the middle class, they go on risky investments and pay more to their shareholders. The 08 scenarios come to mind, with drumpf removing all Obama's regulations on corporate greed. The 08 calamity will be a meeting in the city park.

He has not fashioned out a single economic road map or plan since he came in.His supporters who have water in their heads in place of brain are giving him credit for an economy obama stabilized to now create new jobs. The funny thing is that he has been consistently rolling back the regualtions obama put in place that brought back america from recession. The result is that the wall street gang are going back to their old ways and the shares are steadily risng. When the stock market crash it will affect every sector and the republican oligarchs and wall street executives will buy up the stocks people are investing in now for peanuts and properties also---- Credit rinzaugustin for the last paragraph.

Another ignorance-laced leftist socialist talking points. Why should an individual pay for what he does not use? It's immoral (and should be crime against humanity) to force healthy people to subsidize healthcare for the unhealthy. Charity is a freewill thing. The tax reform simply means less government and more people should run the economy. Too much government interference in the market tend to ruin the business.

You are insane and don't even know how anything works in this country, stay with discussing your Nigerian idiotic affairs. Every tax paying adult contributes to the medicAIDS and social security funds, but the GOP wanna cut the benefits of the contribution to there cronies. If that's not evil, I don't know what's evil going by the fact that the state full funded the treatment of the GOP Senate leader when he was afflicted by polio in childhood.

I have lived in the UK and Germany with health care that makes ours a joke, yet they have a contributory health insurance system. Y'all GOP idiots are just greed running on steroids, and it's has make the country a shithole, so the lives of Americans is less important to the GOP contributors and lobby groups. So much for the draining the swamp hookline.

Of course I know how your utopian socialist idea works- NHS that could not save baby Charlie Gard who would have stood more chance to survive in the US. And I know government use tax for a lot of things: funding medicaid for states I support, expansion of medicaid (obamacare) I am against. Why in the world should there be same social health insurance across the board? Situation where a group of nuns have to pay for birth control/child birth expenses. Why should I as a healthy male (who has not received any treatment from hospital for over 15 years) be responsible for mammograms and other female care? Why should a woman be responsible for a man’s prostate trouble? And why in the world should I be responsible for a smoker's lung problems or an addict's treatment?

Edward Prescott, Nobel Prize winner, found that the higher taxes of Europe caused people to start work later in life, retire earlier, take more sick leave, take more vacation, work less intensely, work less ambitiously, grow less intelligent as adults and produce corporations with lower market values. Perhaps that's why Europe's stock market is at $8 trillion while US is at $28 trillion; because of Reagan tax rate. Perhaps that's why U.S. jobs have grown 60% since 1980 while Europe jobs have grown less than 26% - because Reagan reduced tax rates.

Apples and oranges has expected, Charlie Gard as the only example to compare a complex issue as health insurance. You need a refund from whoever is involved in your education, there are millions of Charles Gard in the USA kicking the bucket per second. Firstly those country outperform us in all health indexes.

We are the only developed country paying 4 times the price of prescription drug compared to the next 6 countries. How many times do nationals from these countries have to open a gofund me account for health complications? The I have not been sick for ages line is the dumbest talking line of conservatives, health care is always an emergency, an healthy male can turn up with life threatening ailment in a sec or a fatal accident in a jiffy. Y'all are just demented like that.

F***k you and your Nobel price winner, Europe is giving us a beat down in all human indexes scores, better infrastructure than anything we can dream of, and less people living in abject poverty, they can achieve these because of the need to attain an egalitarian society. Unlike the pandering to lobbyist and corporate hawks that have left main street America in misery. Get a life loser.

As expected wall street is where the conservatives worship, even though the bandwagon of there brainless supporters live and represent the main street, sh1thead can you please order a brain at the next black Friday sales cut.

Libtards like you fail to understand the right don't believe the end should justify the means. It's a matter of principle based on on objective morality.
I wasn't comparing apples and oranges; my example is just one out of many I can cite. You cannot compare a free market healthcare where there is steady competition which overtime drives healthcare quality up and while lowering cost. Such system is incomparable with a government-run healthcare system. I'm not against anyone benefiting from free healthcare but I do not want to be FORCED to pay for what does not benefit me. The socialist schtick of medicare for all failed to pass in a nutjob leftist state of California because they know it will immediately double the debt. Medical care is a good/service, NOT a right. If you declare something a right without actually incentivizing the creation of those things, you don't get more of them.

In South Africa, healthcare and even housing is a right, but the fact is they lack good healthcare and housing still. This is because just declaring something a right does not make it appear. What makes things appear is a market-based system that creates more medical care, more doctors, and most importantly more incentive for people to join in the business. Capping healthcare providers' income basically removes the drive for one to go spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and man-hours to gain a medical degree from an Ivy league college, and then government comes and dictates the sort of care that the doctor should provide to each particular patient, and how much the doctor should be paid. This decreases the number of people who are going into the industry, which decreases the level of care overall.

You are evidently showing the hallmark of the left: Forcing the rich to become poorer inorder to help the poor become richer. It is objectively wrong to have a group of people vote to install an authority that legally 'extorts' from another group of people in the name of social equality! That is legalized theft, it does not achieve common good. Really, does the rich steal from the poor? How?

To help the poor in a society, you don't have to punish an innocent rich individual who has labored for his success. You keep mentioning Wall Street because that's the leftist talking point that fits your narrative; did you intentionally omit Silicon Valley?

You can say fvck you and your Nobel price winner because his conclusion shreds your social welfare argument. Since time immemorial, there hasn't been a reverse in the number of migration of Europeans to the US. Do you have an explanation for that?
