Its a typical shounen manga/anime. Nakama this, nakama that. Power of friendship conquers all. Little tactical planning and the fights are mostly always the same.

And there is this thing that I don't like about most shounen mangas/animes. The the main protagonist must be the one to fight the final boss, even when there are stronger characters and obviously the protagonist is usually a child and inexperienced. Lots of grinding till the power of friendship comes through for him.

Bleach, sometyms naruto and yours trully are very guilty of this. The Ant king arc in hunter x hunter teaches us exactly how to write an arc and still win a fight that you could possibly not win through fatal sacrifices and serious tactical planning.
