Mechatronics is a new course that under mechanical department before...it is a good and new course that only few universities have been accredited to enrol students. mechatronics help you to go deep in the relationship between your machines and your computer...it aid you in operating CNC machines..we have few mechatronics engineers in Nigeria...it a good course. I will advise you to put in for it.

Go for mechantronics then, cos it is diverse field. You'd borrow courses from computer and electrical engineering.

Please go for Mechanical or Electrical Engineering for the first degree. Then do your masters in Mechatronics. You will really appreciate me. Have a broader knowledge in your first degree then streamline into Mechatronics for masters

Inputs from people who studied or know much about the courses at any of those institutions is also greatly needed, especially about opportunities after graduation.

With a good jamb score next year, choose Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University bauchi and I know you are in... Futminna hmmm be ready for a fierce competition. Mechatronics or mechanical engineering is available in the school, no post utme, aggregate of jamb n ssce to get in... Minimum 180, but 200 n above for better chances in engineering.

I'm a 4th year student of electrical/electronics engineering at MOUAU (Michael okpara uni of Agric Umudike). I must confess that practical sessions are nothing to write home about.

A first degree in mechanical engineering and masters in mechantronics sounds like a good idea though.

it is a combination of mechanical, electrical and computer science and it talked more about robotics.....

d course is nice.... and am planning 2 switch over 2 d department of mechatronic....
