BoomPlay, Africa disrupted music app, popularly used in Tecno and Infinix Android phones reported a 2.5 million Nigerians who regular download and stream music via the app. Also, the number of music artists in BoomPlay app repository amount to 130,000. The data also show that music produced by Nigerians are the most played and engaged. At least 500,000 comments made in the apps are mostly for Nigerian artists.
