I read a thread where UBA is deducting incessantly from their customers account in d name of monthly card maintenance, my own issue is with GTB, I have been getting debit alert from GTB in d sum of #80 and d description of debit is recovery charges, I called a friend who works with GTB and ask her what is recovery charges all about, and she said she don't know any charge called recovery charges, just want to know if am d only one been affected or other GTB customers are also been deducted for 'recovery charges'.

I also observe that money is been deducted from my account without any charge attached to it, I will just observe that my balance is short of what it's suppose to be. Am I d only one experiencing this?

I've also experienced it too but I no dey bother bcus I don complain tire and no headway

GTB charged me 278 naira for sms last month... I weak

They do charge me consistently anytime any money is deposited evn if it is 1k deposit they wil deduct 50 naira, though it is a current account. Sometimes they deduct up to 2000 at once in a month and call it account maintenance charge. Sometimes 300 naira and i dnt knw what charge it is. All these charges aside from the once they charge 50 naira at every deposit

If truly they deduct money as you guys said, na to kuku go open account for gtb make them deduct from my account. Let me file suit against them, as innoson did. Na so I go take hammer jejely.

I experienced the #80 deduction thing 8times cos I transfered money severally before Christmas celebration
I didn't notice on time as I did the transfer(s)one after the other and didn't bother to check the alerts as they came in
Before then ,i've been debited severally for using my ATM card on a POS machine
I can't start counting self
All I did was to transfer my cash to another bank
When d account goes dormant ,dey will close it
