Different stories cooked up for one fire accident... i actually passed through garrison this afternoon..and i must say from observations.. the car was carrying deisel or fuel.. and then people said it happened around 5am...for him to ram into passengers, its either he was runing from the police or he had no headlamp... the accident was not in any way caused by the round about. The accident could have been avoided. RIP

That round about is a mistake in construction, when I saw that round about I new that some day is will course problems, from the fly over coming now to the roundabout driver's are usually on speed, so that round about is not necessary they. Please they should go back to the former design of the road

Mr project see what you have caused, Amaechi was not stupid when he blocked that Garrison road from the other lane, there has been a gridlock of vehicle at a point for two or more hours without moving, and that demacation elucidate that problem. I was expecting Mr project to put a flyover on that garrison which would have solve that problem but no no he only constructed a roundabout without expanding the road, vehicle from coming from mile 1 and the incoming vehicle from waterlines respectively on a dual carriage will meet a single lane on that roundabout and will be strggling with vehicle coming from nwaja area, so this is very stupid thinking from the one that call himself mr project. There are other dilapidated road in the town and the rural area begging for construction. This is a complete misplacement of priority, i have been saying this if wike did half of what Amaechi did Rivers will be more than Abuja and Paris.

Very good point. Roundabouts along Lekki-Epe road in Lagos were demolished and replaced with traffic lights, for the same reasons u enumerated.

sincerely, i dont know what wike see in constructing roundabouts. he changed the original designs from Nkpogu junction and garrison which was supposed to be fly overs.
and the roundabouts are so wide.
you dont use roundabouts where you have major traffic on the road because it will be causing unnecessary gridlocks on the road.
how can a sane person construct a round about along an express road?
the best he could have done was to use traffic lights the way it is at GRA junction

They did that rubbish roundabout for those yeye Lebanese owners of spar (shop rite) for easy access to their non taxable business ventures all over Nigeria. Rivers state govt should borrow a cue from what Ambode did on the Lekki Epe expressway, demolishing all those roundabouts in Lekki Epe expressway.

Mr. Project aka Mr. Roundabout hunger they catch people yet na roundabout be him solution to unemployment and lack of security now the roundabout has taken three lives I hope they don’t wait until the roundabouts claim more before they realize they are clueless about what’s important and what’s not! Such a sad news and a sad way to start the year my condolences to the bereaved, and RIP to the dead!

IT IS A FAULTY AND VERY DANGEROUS INITIATIVE.
1) IT CONTRIBUTES TO TRAFFIC BUILD UP, THIS WILL BLOCK THE WHOLE ABA ROAD
2) IT IS ON AN EXPRESSWAY AND WILL LEAD TO ACCIDENT FROM FAST INCOMING VEHICLES ON HIGH SPEED ESPECIALLY DURING THE DARK HOURS OF THE DAY.
PLEASE REMOVE ROUNDABOUT AND REVERT TO THE ORIGINAL STATUS (BLOCK THIS SECTION) OR BUILD A FLYOVER BRIDGE.
ALTERNATIVELY WE CAN PUT SPEED BREAKERS, ROAD SIGNS WITH TRAFFIC CONTROL LIGHTS (MANDATORY) TO REGULATE VEHICULAR MOVEMENTS AT THE ROUNDABOUT.

Same comments I made when I got to the roundabout. Lekki-Ajah road roundabouts were problems until they were removed and technology replaced the roundabout!
