The people of Rochi, Trans Amadi, Port Harcourt were earlier today greeted with a heavy fire blast which gutted down the NDDC ware-house. The source of the fire remains controversial and all efforts to garner helps from fire-fighters proved abortive as several fire service lines called were either switched off or unreachable.

Hope was restored when finally SPDC fire department arrived to quell the gruesome fire.

It was almost a case of medicine after death as the warehouse was completely razed down by the inferno.

A minimum of 10 power transformers and several goods worth billions of naira were reportedly damaged. What a way to start the new year.
