However, a good Computer do break down sometimes. You do not need to run to a technician all the time when your computer Crashed or is attacked by a Malicious Software. knowing basic procedure to follow saves time and money.



PROBLEM 1: Computer will not Start

Possible Solution:

• Ensure that the Power on switch is on and Check the System back and Side for any Power Switch and that the Switches are not Damaged.


• Feel the CPU fan, if it's not blowing, test with another Power Pack and if not Ok


• Remove CMOS and wait


• If it has an AT Power, change it's Polarity.


PROBLEM 2: COMPUTER RESTART RANDOMLY

Possible Solution:

• Check all loosely mounted hardware to ensure they are well Seured


• Clean the CPU and PSU Cooling fans, if dirty clean the CPU or change them if faulty


• Restore System to an ealier date


PROBLEM 3: "Windows/system 32/config.Systemfile missing of corrupts"

possible Solution:

• Boot using Windows Setup CD and enter into "Recovery Console" Log into Windows installation and enter Admin Password and give the following Commands at prompt : Copy
