Okpa is a popular legume prepared by removing the outer covering of the Bambara seed and grounding to flour from which the thick solid food forms out of the flour during cooking. Water, oil and other condiments are added to make it look like the popular moimoi.

3 cigar cups | 450g Okpa flour
15 tablespoons red palm oil
4 small seasoning cubes
Salt (to taste)
Fresh pepper (to taste)
1.2 litres lukewarm/tepid water
