Police trails runaway bride for allegedly poisoning, killing husband in Kano

The Kano State Police command has disclosed that its officers had commenced search for a teenager and runaway bride over allegations that she poisoned and killed her husband, named, Umar Sani.

It was gathered that the alleged killer got married to the late Sani two weeks ago, after which she poisoned the deceased for reason unknown on January 4, even though the deceased was said to have died the following day.

However, relatives to the deceased was said to have reported the incidence to Kofar Wambai Police station in the state metropolis on Monday.

Confirming the incidence on Tuesday in the state, the police command Public Relations Officer, Magaji Majiya, explained that after the matter was reported, the police went to the scene of the incidence.
