The Nigeria Police Force said that it has arrested no fewer than nineteen (19) suspected vicious and notorious kidnap for ransom, armed robbery and cattle rustling gangs, known to terrorise the Abuja-Kaduna highways, and also responsible for kidnapping one Hakeem Kosoko on the highway.

It was gathered that the IGP-Intelligence Response Team attached to Operation Absolute Sanity, who were said to be working on actionable intelligence and in compliance with IGP’S directives to rid Abuja-Jere-Kaduna-Zaria highways and other major roads within FCT, Niger and Kaduna criminals.
