Alex Iwobi was not spared the wrath of the fans after Arsenal's goalless draw away to Chelsea in the EFL cup semifinal as he was criticized for his display.

This latest draw was coming seven days after a scintillating 2-2 Premier League draw by both teams at the Emirates Stadium.

Iwobi, who started the semi-final game against Chelsea was looking to get a tough week behind him but it was not so as fans slammed him for his performance.

In a particular instance, Iwobi had freed up space for himself through the middle of the Chelsea defence and was well placed to release a shot or pass to Sanchez only for him to bottle it.

He placed a weak side-footed shot that effortlessly rolled into the hands of the keeper much to the frustration of Sanchez and the Arsenal faithfuls.
